The Best of Nikki Webster

TV HITS
Give this girl a gold star! Nikki's only 17, and she's already got a Greatest Hits album. Not bad for a girl who rose to fame suspended by a piece of rope! A CD chockers with impossibly upbeat bubblegum pop from Australia's cheeriest performer.

Barbie Mag
Nik's CD is funk-tastic and features all her hot hits including Strawberry Kisses and Dancing In The Street. The bonus DVD is chock-full of music videos, live performances and behind-the-scenes footage. Sooo great!

K-zone
Nikki has come a long way since her debut at the Sydney Olympics. Even though the thought of being trapped with 'Strawberry Kisses' on full blast is enough to send you mad, your little sis' will love grooving to all her old Nikki faves.

Let's Dance

SAIN
Although she must be a teen by now, Nikki Webster doesn't seem to have aged despite the early 80's Madonna garb. Freaky. In a bid to snatch her market from a more mature Britney and Hilary, Nikki's people have her gunning at the hip pocket with an album of dance covers. In addition to the title track, "our" Nikki does her best on dance floor staples such as "Dancing In The Streets", "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)". It's unclear what Whitney Houston will make of Nikki's efforts but this album should appeal to younger ears.

TV HITS
Retro classics like "Dancing In The Street", "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", "Walking On Sunshine" and "ABC" get an upbeat makeover by Australia's princess of perky pop. Lot's of fun, but give this one to your little sister.

Total Girl
Nikki sure has something to dance about. She's just released her single and upcoming album both titled Let's Dance. This bright and upbeat album is very Nikki but with a twist - filled with heaps of fun tracks all about dancing. So if you're like us here at TG HQ and love Nikki, grab your copy and let's dance!

Barbie Mag
Nikki's CD is chock-full of groovy hits to dance to like Dancing In The Street, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and the catchy ABC.

Nikki's caught up in that sad nether space, where a singer of some talent is trying to break out, but is being kept as young as possible for as long as possible. Trying to appeal to her existing fans she serves up adequate versions of popular songs Nikki and her fans are too young to remember.

'The Jungle Book 2' soundtrack

TV Week
Nikki Webster joins the cast of the Disney movie The Jungle Book 2, belting out the gooey singalong, "I Wanna Be Like You". She sings rings around young actor Haley Joel Osment.

Total Girl
If you love Disney songs, this is the CD for you this month. Have you seen the movie yet? Well the soundtrack has some awesome songs on it, including one featuring Smash Mouth, and on the special Australian release there is a fantastic single by Nikki Webster!

Bliss

SAIN
Nikki returns in 2002 with her second album, the perfect follow-up to her platinum debut "Follow You Heart". "Bliss" features Nikki's first two singles "Something more Beautiful" and "24/7 (crazy 'bout your smile)", as well as a whole lot more catchy pop songs - make someone happy this Christmas!

Follow Your Heart

TV HITS
There's nothing bad about this record in any way, shape, or form. Not only is it beyond her years in terms of style and vocal delivery, but Nikki Webster has managed to convey some of the brightest messages you'll hear this side of Eminem. 14-year-old Nikki sings hopeful words with the wisdom of a nanna. "If children are the future of this world, wish each and every one the gift of love/Someone who can show them right from wrong" (Mirror Mirror). In the most inspired song - Individuality - she sings "It's about individuality, being who you want to be, not someone the crowd wants to see." Yep, Nikki is all good.
